June 30, 2011 – Whitebox Studios. Every now and then we get talented students like Jesse Chia who come to have their portfolio photographed. Jesse is fashion stylist and designer, and he’s graduating this year the Art Institute of Vancouver. Aside from that, he’s also the marketing manager of the Vancouver-based fashion label Fala by Fala Chien. His final collection was photographed at the studio a little while ago, and we’re very happy to see the photos here:

Here’s some behind the scenes photos of how they created the looks. Jesse Chia and his crew also used our equipment during the shoot, and we rented a black background for them as well, but you can always recreated a dark effect by using the lights, like in our tutorial here.
